Martial Arts Master From "Karate Kid" Movies To Give Seminar In Tucson And Phoenix, Arizona
Sensei Doug Corlew, the owner of The Dojo, is hosting seminars with Master Fumio Demura in Tucson and Phoenix Arizona. Fumio Demura is a world-renowned Martial Arts expert and has choreographed many movies in Hollywood. He has played the stunt double for Pat Morita in the four "Karate Kid" movies. Mr. Demura has been inducted into the Black Belt Magazine Hall of Fame as "Karate Sensei Award" in 1969 and "Martial Artist of the Year" in 1975 and is currently the Director and Chief Instructor for the Shito-Ryu Karate-Do Genbu-Kai; an organization encompassing nearly
twenty nations and thousands of members.
Master Demura has not visited Arizona for more than fifteen years, and will be conducting two special seminars to expand the knowledge of the Ancient Arts to practitioners in the area.
